Dear Timmy,

Just to say have a great time in the jungle, enjoy the luxury while you can and keep us all smiling.

Still remember with fondness the days of Wacaday whilst nursing my young children - who are all teenagers now !!!

I might be nearly 40, but I'm still a fan!

Love, Lindsay xxx

Timmy could be coming face to face with a few of these!

"I'm used to being a replacement and I'll make the most of it" said Timmy.
"I was Roland Rat's replacement on TVam so taking over from a celebrity in the jungle will be no problem after that animal!"

The 10 contestants in the ITV reality show, who don't know that Timmy is waiting in the wings....

"I expect I'll sit around the pool at the hotel, drinking pina coladas and chilling out, while they enjoy the wildlife crawling over them and some delicious bush tucker! Still I'll be ready and willing for anything when someone drops out!!!" said our hero!

The only thing Timmy will miss in the jungle is chocolate biscuits and a cuppa, and the Simpsons. "I also like my weekly game of 5 a side football, I suppose we could play that in the jungle - after all there will be 10 of us!"

Luxury item? Perhaps a ball? - Not allowed. What about an imaginery ball then?!

Timmy's wife Lynda, who is Australian herself, and their 11 year old son Billy couldn't believe Timmy was prepared to do it. "I know it's the rainy season but at least it'll be warm rain!" explained Timmy.

How would he cope in the jungle then? Timmy's fear is that hunger and tiredness will make him crabby. "I'm praying for patience - NOW!!!!"

What if he isn't called on? Will it be a waste of time? "I'm flying first class to Australia to stay in a luxury hotel - of course I'm delighted. And if I'm called upon to do my bit in the jungle - that's a small price to pay!
Bring it on!!!"
