Molly Hurley finds some fascinating news today including a thoughtful and powerful piece on the 90th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme this weekend There are 63 names on the War memorial in Cookham and a similar number at Cookham Dean. Brave men who perished on the worst day of casualties in British history. Amazingly there are still three British warriors alive from the Great war.... fine men of good humour and courage who fought for our freedom. We salute them.
