Rock Pools on Vancouver island
Halfway along the road from Port Alberni to Ucluelet are some spectacular water holes. It's a very popular place to stop off and cool your toes in the icy water.
On hot summer days the rocks are a delightful place to sunbathe, the foolhardy leap off them.
I covered the board in purple first and let it show through . It makes the water colder and fresher. That little figure in the water is young Billy, who has just leaped off the rocks - because he could.
