Stevie Horton arranged today's Spinathon and Timmy came along with Air Ambulance President Gerry Anderson "Thunderbirds are international rescue and this is local rescue!"
Spinathon helper Siobhan Mitchell was on Wacaday in 1986. The Thames Valley Air Ambulance has been operating since 1999 and Timmy has often seen the fluroscent yellow helicopter flying over his house. He was amazed to find it needs a million pounds a year to keep it operating 7 days a week. The Air Ambulance makes up to 12 emergency calls a day.
