1770 sunset

The tiny settlement of 1770 is one of those hard to get to great places that are thrilling to discover. Captain Cook found it in 1770 and that's what the place is called - 1770! It's one of the few places on the east coast of Oz where you can see the sun setting over the water because of the sheltered wide inlet. After dark we cycled along the track from the campsite on the beach, and came across a family of wallabys and we sat and stared at each other. Magical!
