Airlie Beach, Whitsundays
Sun glinting on the water, palms waving in the breeze, boat sails scattering colour and people hanging around the public pool area on the foreshore - it all makes Airlie Beach a top spot to visit. The main street has almost as many internet cafes as bars for the massive backpacker population that comes through to enjoy one of Australia's "must do" places.
