Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White
The song kept running round my head as I painted these fierce white apple blossom petals, the knarled and bumpy apple tree branches and twigs and the fiercly pink cherry blossom. For just one week in April these two fruit trees compete with each other for the pride of the garden. And living as we do in the garden of England it means we don't have to move far to see this glorious display.
Even the branches have green mossy touches and at the trees foot are a bed of blubells. Heavenly!
