I was staring at the shiny old phonebox, standing proud and glorious in the sunshine when I realised this was merely the backdrop to something else!
The Embrace is so warm but we're unclear as to whether the couple are meeting or parting. Phoneboxes are about connecting people but in reality there's nothing like the embrace to bring people together!
I like the fact it's winter, the leaves are off the trees, everyone is wearing a coat, but the painting is warm and cosy becuase of this couple.
