The Green Way
The smell is so pungent and rich it's almost as if you can smell England growing!
I love the flourescent yellow of May in England. Since the arrival of oil seed rape as one of the most successsful animal feed crops, England's most prominent colour in Spring time is Lemon yellow!
Van Gogh would have loved this! I did a background colour of violet to bring out the complimentary colour of the florurescent yellow, but it's the tiny figure dwarfed by this vigorous crop that gives the sense of scale and vastness to the yellow fields of the Green Way...
