Above the road to Amalfi, Italy
Everything along the Amalfi coast seems to cling to the hillside precariously - the churches, the houses, the trees, the orchards, not to mention the roads and even the mountains themselves appear to hanging above the sea in a sense of flux....
I found it almost impossible to get a level piece of ground for the easel.
In the middle distance is the town of Amalfi itself with the harbour jutting out to sea.And those mountains in the background. So sharp - you could shave with them!
