Walking up the Boulevard St Michel you come to the Luxembourg gardens. I painted this on a hazy spring morning with the pink highlights and blue shadows very prominant.
The walk from the Louvre down to the Place de la Concorde is wonderful in any season. The thing that's missing here is the pyramid at the front of the Louvre! I've painted this same view on numerous occasions and I always love it.
