Pere Lechaise Cemetery, Paris
This is one of my favourite painintgs under the psuedonym Marceau Botzaris - Looking across the rows of gravestones to the new Pompidou Centre at Beauborg standing out in blue and beyond it the Eiffel Tower.
There's nothing eerie about painting in a cemetery - they are attractive, well kept, interesting, full of fascinating people - some of whom still walk about!
It was early spring when I visited here with my dad - the trees haven't yet sprouted any leaves. We had a really good time here.
