Lynda in the poppies at Cookham
After all the major earth works, the "Great wall of Cookham" was flooded with poppies this summer.
Lynda tried to find the path through the field and all I could see was her hat!
I liked the way the poppies also competed with wild oil seed rape, daisies and cornflowers. It's the sort of English early summer scene that we dream about.
Well this dream came true!
