Marceau Botzaris is the name I use for many of my Parisian paintings. It's a combination of two stations on the metro - Alma Marceau and Botzaris. Botzaris station is in a hilly park where I saw this view across to the Sacre Coeur in Montmatre. the rain was blowing in - a real autumnal soggy day and I loved the way it made me work very quickly to capture the blustery conditions before the painting was completely rained out!
