The open shutters
My friends have a wonderful house in the village of Oeuvillan in the south of France. These blue shutters make an image we can all relate to - cobalt blue for the Med - open wide to let the light flood in.
The walls of course have a lived in look and the house opens onto the big plane tree that is just hinted at with the overhanging branch and the shadows.
In fact this view could be anywhere in France - so enjoy!
