Venice - Moonrise

When it's a full moon in late winter the Moon always rises just as the sun goes down so we see the faint haze of the last of the sun's rays in the pale blue sky. The lights are on across the skyline and they twinkle in the water as the gonolas bob up and down trapped in between their mooring poles.
I love the shape of these poles twisting and turning into the night sky and I love the gonolas under their nighttime covers bobbing at and you can see why artists have been attracted here since the dawn of time!
