Amy is 10, Oliver 8 and Ben 6. They were more interested in playing on the high ropes in the wood than having their portraits painted. BUT once it began they were absorbed in the whole process and commented throughout...

Ben. I like the way the light shows through Ben's ears. He was wearing a wonderful stripey jumper, which was a real treat to paint!
Amy What wonderful long hair! I put in Amy's favourite pink hairband and lots of colour into her long pigtails. Amy's skin tones were delightful to paint!
Oliver This was the first and easiest of the three portraits to be completed. Oliver has got a thoughtful expression and terrific eyes.
