The Railway Children

2010 brought the 40th anniversary of the much loved family film The Railway Children. To celebrate this delightful film, Timmy was asked to paint a series of paintings based on the movie and make some available to collectors in a special Limited Edition.

The book was written by Edith Nesbitt in 1905, and Lionel Jeffries (grandad in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) directed the movie on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway in Yorkshire. It starred Jenny Agutter, Bernard Cribbins, Dinah Sheridan, Sally Thomsett and Gary Warren.

If you would like to buy an original or special limited edition print send an email to ask details.

Sally Thomsett, Bernard Cribbins, and Jenny Agutter kindly signed each of the limited edition prints.

Just click on the thumbnails to see a larger version of the painting and read the story behind it. Enjoy!
