What does Timmy's painting of a wheel and half of a cart have in common with 142 other paintings? Answer? Rolf on Art the Big event!
Trafalgar Square in London was the setting for BBC1's flagship live show Rolf on Art - the Big Event when over 140 artists gathered to recreate Constable's famous painting the Haywain. Each panel was 30x20" and together they formed a giant work of art that covered the side of the National gallery.
Timmy was invited to take part and together with Rolf Harris, Jane Seymour, David James, Fern Cotton, Anneka Rice, Linda Barker, Mark Speight, Peter Cockcroft, Jim from eastenders, and Bill Oddie made up the celebrity central panel.
Starting at 11am the artists had a few hours under the glare of the TV cameras and thousands of people who had gathered to watch. The panels were then assembled during the live TV transmission that evening.
